1. Overview
This Privacy Policy applies to DoneLoom, package name com.doneloom.tasks.reminders. DoneLoom helps users create, edit, categorize, prioritize, complete, delete, and receive local reminders for TODO tasks.
DoneLoom is designed to work offline. The app does not require registration, does not offer account creation, does not include advertising, does not include analytics, and does not transmit your TODO content to our servers.
2. Data Safety Summary
| Data you enter | TODO content, due date, due time, category, priority, completion status, and notification preference. |
|---|---|
| Where it is stored | On your device only, using local app storage. |
| Data collection | We do not collect, upload, sell, share, or use your TODO data for advertising or analytics. |
| Permissions | The app requests notification permission only to show local task reminders when you enable notifications. |
| Accounts | No account is created, and no login credentials are collected. |
3. Information Handled by the App
DoneLoom lets you save information that you choose to type into the app. This may include TODO task text, dates, times, categories, and priorities. The app also stores whether a task is completed and whether notification reminders are enabled.
Because TODO text is user-generated, you should avoid entering sensitive personal information, financial information, government identifiers, health information, passwords, contact details, or information about children.
4. Local Storage and Offline Use
DoneLoom stores task information locally on your device so that your tasks remain available when the app is closed or when the device is offline.
We do not operate a cloud sync service for DoneLoom. We do not receive, access, or review your locally stored TODO content. If your device operating system or backup provider backs up app data, that backup is controlled by your device settings and the applicable provider, not by DoneLoom.
5. Notification Permission
DoneLoom may request the Android POST_NOTIFICATIONS permission. This permission is used only to display local reminders for future TODO tasks when you choose to enable notifications in the app.
Notifications are generated on your device. Granting or denying notification permission does not create an account, does not upload your task content, and does not allow us to track you.
You can turn reminders off in the app Settings page or through your device notification settings.
6. No Sharing, Selling, Ads, or Analytics
DoneLoom does not sell personal data. DoneLoom does not share your TODO content with advertisers, analytics providers, data brokers, or social networks.
The app does not include advertising SDKs, analytics SDKs, social login SDKs, or cloud database services.
7. Children Under 13 Are Not Allowed to Use DoneLoom
DoneLoom is not directed to children under 13 years old and is not intended for use by anyone under 13. Users under 13 must not use the app, create TODOs, save categories, enable reminders, or enter any information into DoneLoom.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because DoneLoom is an offline local-storage app and we do not operate user accounts or servers for TODO data, we generally cannot identify the age of a person using a device.
If a parent or guardian believes that a child under 13 has used DoneLoom, they should delete the locally saved tasks from the app, disable notifications, and uninstall the app from the device. They may also contact us at the email address below.
8. Users Aged 13 to 17
DoneLoom may be used by users who are 13 or older only if permitted by applicable law and, where required, with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
Users aged 13 to 17 should not enter sensitive personal information or information about other people into TODO tasks, categories, or reminders. Parents and guardians are encouraged to review the app's local data and notification settings if a teen uses the app.
9. Data Retention and Deletion
TODO data remains on your device until you delete it, clear local tasks inside the app, clear the app's storage through your device settings, or uninstall the app.
DoneLoom does not provide account deletion because the app does not create accounts. Deleting local app data removes the TODO information stored by DoneLoom on that device.
10. Security
DoneLoom keeps task data in local app storage provided by the Android operating system. You are responsible for protecting access to your device with appropriate device security, such as a screen lock.
Since DoneLoom does not transmit your TODO data to us, there is no server-side DoneLoom account database containing your tasks.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy if DoneLoom changes its features, permissions, data handling, or legal requirements. The updated policy will show a new effective date.
